Industry knowledge
Yangzhou Aiweite Electromechanical Co., Ltd. manufactures and integrates diesel generator sets from 1 kVA to 2,500 kVA, built around genuine industrial diesel engines and matched alternators. Our Engine Diesel Generator range covers Cummins, Perkins, Weichai, Yuchai, Baudouin, MTU, Volvo, SDEC and Mitsubishi powered sets for industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects worldwide.
Every set is configured as a complete power system: engine, brushless alternator, control panel, cooling, filtration, exhaust, base frame and safety protection. We select the engine platform against the load profile, duty rating, fuel quality, ambient conditions and the electrical interface required at site. The result is a generator set that matches the project rather than a catalogue item adjusted afterwards.
Engine brand is the first decision in most projects because it fixes service network, fuel consumption behaviour, spare parts availability and emission tier. We build each platform in open, silent, trailer and container formats, with 50 Hz or 60 Hz electrical configuration.
| Engine Platform | Typical Power Band | Application Fit |
|---|---|---|
| Cummins Powered Diesel Generator Sets | 8 kW – 3,750 kW | Data centres, telecom, hospitals, mines, offshore, emergency rescue |
| Perkins Powered Diesel Generator Sets | 8 kW – 3,400 kW | Hospitals, commercial buildings, industrial plants, telecom, marine |
| Weichai Powered Diesel Generator Sets | Medium to high power | Industrial plants, construction, infrastructure, prime power |
| Yuchai Powered Diesel Generator Sets | Medium to high power | Industrial, commercial, municipal and standby power |
| Baudouin Powered Diesel Generator Sets | Marine and heavy-duty industrial | Marine, offshore, oil and gas, heavy industry |
| MTU Powered Diesel Generator Sets | High power and mission-critical | Data centres, power plants, large industrial facilities |
| Volvo Powered Diesel Generator Sets | Medium power | Commercial buildings, telecom, industrial standby |
| SDEC Powered Diesel Generator Sets | Medium power | Industrial, commercial and general standby power |
| Mitsubishi Powered Diesel Generator Sets | Medium to high power | Industrial plants, infrastructure, marine and standby |
An engine platform determines more than rated power. It sets the load acceptance behaviour, the fuel consumption curve, the maintenance interval and the emission tier that can be offered. We match the engine to the duty rating and the site conditions before selecting the alternator and control system.
We build the electrical package around the site interface. Alternators are brushless, self-excited synchronous types with Class H insulation and IP22–IP23 protection, selected for stable voltage and frequency output and good dynamic response to both conventional and precision loads. Control panels use LCD intelligent controllers with real-time monitoring and multi-protection for overload, overheat and low oil pressure.
Mechanical scope covers the cooling system, triple filtration, heavy-duty vibration dampers, high-efficiency muffler and an integrated base frame. These are matched to the engine and alternator so that installation on site is straightforward and long-term operation remains stable.
The same engine platform can be supplied in different structures depending on the installation environment. Our Diesel Generator By Structure range includes open, silent, trailer and container types. Silent and container units are configured for noise-controlled environments, with noise levels down to below 75 dB(A) on selected models. Trailer units suit mobile and field work, while container units support larger installations and parallel operation.
Power band selection is usually driven by the largest motor, the total connected load and the acceptable voltage dip. Our Diesel Generator By Power Range range groups sets so that the correct frame size and alternator can be identified quickly.
Control systems are configured for the required level of automation, from basic auto start/stop to full remote monitoring and cloud management. ATS power transfer, generator paralleling and multi-unit capacity expansion are available where the project requires continuous or scalable power.
Quality control runs through production rather than being a final inspection step. Incoming inspection of key components, assembly process verification, electrical safety checks and mechanical fitting inspection are applied across batches. Before delivery, each set undergoes full-load testing from 0 to 110% rated capacity, step load response testing, continuous operation endurance testing, voltage and frequency stability testing, and emergency protection system verification.
We operate under ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. Test records and inspection documentation are prepared as part of the delivery package so that acceptance at site can be completed against the agreed specification.
Installation guidance covers foundation and base frame requirements, exhaust routing, cooling air path, fuel and cable connections, and control interface wiring. Maintenance intervals follow the engine platform, with genuine spare parts supplied for engine components, alternator parts, electrical and control system parts, filters and consumables.
Our support scope includes technical consultation, system configuration, production coordination, spare parts supply and after-sales technical service. Documentation and training material are prepared around the delivered configuration so that site teams can operate and maintain the set correctly.
To prepare a suitable configuration and quotation, we work from the project data below. The more precisely the working point is defined, the more accurately we can match engine, alternator, enclosure and control system.
| Project Input | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Required prime and standby power | Fixes engine frame size and alternator rating |
| Load type and largest motor | Determines starting method and voltage dip allowance |
| Duty rating | Standby, prime or continuous power definition |
| Voltage, frequency and phase | Electrical configuration and switchgear interface |
| Ambient temperature, altitude and environment | Cooling, derating and corrosion protection |
| Enclosure or installation type | Open, silent, trailer or container structure |
| Control and automation requirements | ATS, remote monitoring, parallel operation |
| Emission tier and destination market | Engine platform and compliance documentation |
We build sets around Cummins, Perkins, Weichai, Yuchai, Baudouin, MTU, Volvo, SDEC and Mitsubishi engines. Each platform is available in open, silent, trailer and container structures, with 50 Hz or 60 Hz electrical configuration and a choice of control systems.
Our generator sets cover 1 kVA to 2,500 kVA. Within the engine-powered range, Cummins and Perkins platforms extend from around 8 kW to 3,400–3,750 kW depending on model, while other platforms cover medium to high power bands. We confirm the exact rating against the duty and site conditions.
Yes. Control panels support automatic start/stop, ATS power transfer, remote monitoring and cloud management. We configure the control interface around the required line interface, including Deep Sea, SmartGen, ComAp or customised systems, and can support multi-unit parallel operation where capacity expansion is planned.
Every set undergoes full-load testing from 0 to 110% rated capacity, step load response testing, continuous operation endurance testing, voltage and frequency stability testing, and emergency protection system verification. Incoming component inspection, assembly verification, electrical safety checks and mechanical fitting inspection are applied during production.
We supply genuine spare parts for engine components, alternator parts, electrical and control system parts, filters and consumables. Support covers installation guidance, operation support and technical troubleshooting, alongside technical consultation and system configuration before the order is placed.
We need the required prime and standby power, load type and largest motor, duty rating, voltage and frequency, ambient conditions, preferred enclosure type, control and automation requirements, and the destination market with its emission tier. With these inputs we can propose a complete engine, alternator, control and enclosure configuration.
